Road Trip through Iceland

Why study Psychology?

Ruta Quetzal

The Ruta Quetzal is a trip taken yearly by hundreds of Latin American, Spanish, and other Spanish-speaking students. It started in 1979, when Miguel de la Quadra-Salcedo created a trip which would promote intercultural exchange between the youth of Spanish speaking countries.

Living in Canada

I was only 14 years old when I lived abroad for the first time. I lived with a Canadian host family and attended a local high school for 2 months – from September to November. Our destination? Beautiful Victoria in Vancouver Island, British Columbia.

Where it all started

My parents had a very clear idea regarding the type of education they wanted for me: bilingual in Spanish and English. In the 1990s, not many Spanish schools offered this type of bilingual education. One of the few that did, BRAINS School in “La Moraleja” (Madrid), was the chosen one.
